31 March
I'm on holiday! And I'm a third of the way into Project 365! Went to see Ian AKA Tiger Mendoza perform at Café Tarifa this evening, which was good fun. Taken towards the end of their set, at 23.03.

30 March
Went to a free Lent concert at Queen's College tonight, and took this photo as I left at 19.09. The music was wonderful. It included Greene's Lord Let Me Know Mine End, and then the fourth part of a new setting of the Passion by Simon Whalley, called Christus. It's a fantastic new work that I feel privileged to have seen it performed for the first time.

29 March
Went round to see Esther in her lovely new flat after work, and also to meet her mum for the first time. Esther took this photo at 19.02.
28 March
After a very busy week, today I did remarkably little beyond watching the Melbourne Grand Prix and eating this kiwi, at 23.37.
27 March
Today was Mark’s 30th birthday. Jo organized a surprise game of human table football in the afternoon, which was great fun, and then in the evening there was an excellent party at their house. We had to dress up as what we wanted to be when we were young. I’m an engine driver. Clare took this photo, but I don’t know when exactly. I’m going to guess it was about 21.00.

26 March
This evening, Leen and I saw Ellie Goulding perform an OK gig at the Zodiac - I wish I'd seen her a year ago before she had six synthesizers on stage with her. The bouncers wouldn't let me take my camera in, though, because they considered it too professional. Wrong, but whatever. So tonight's photo was taken by John in the King's Arms at 23.45.

25 March
Out for dinner at the Anchor tonight with some colleagues and friends from my last job. Taken by our waitress at 21.48.
Wednesday 24 March 2010
24 March
In honour of Alistair Darling, I had a pint of cider in the Rusty Bicycle this evening, with Leen and John. Taken at 21.12.
Tuesday 23 March 2010
23 March
Had a busy evening, including an excellent concert at Queen's College which featured a new composition by Simon Whalley. Didn't get any photos there, though, so what we have instead is a shot taken at 20.52 in Milano Bar on the Cowley Road while I waited for John and Stephen to turn up for a delicious Atomic Burger.
22 March
Went to the Harcourt after work with Jo and Rich, and eventually Martin. Took this before Jo was ready, at 22.19, but I prefer it to the posed photo that has me in too.
Sunday 21 March 2010
21 March
Fun at the Fishes today in North Hinksey, with Leen, John, Brian, Bexs and Alex. Here we are playing some sort of hybrid of hackysack and keepy-uppy. Taken by John at 17.36.
Saturday 20 March 2010
20 March
Jubilate performed a concert of Britten and Vaughan Williams tonight in Keble college chapel. No good photos of the choir, I'm afraid, but this captures some of the interval atmosphere. Taken at 19.14.
19 March
I'd abandoned my bike at work last night, so I walked in this morning and got this photo as I walked along Broad Street at 9.21.

18 March
Rubbish weather this evening as I walked through the University Parks, which I think is captured by the gloom in this photo, taken at 18.15.
17 March
Happy St Patrick's Day. Leen won tickets (by submitting an amazing, prize-winning limerick) to the Oxford Irish Society's dance at the Rover Social Club, so along we went. The music was terrible, but we had fun anyway. The best thing was the Irish dancing display, but I didn't think taking photos of young girls dancing in very short skirts was a good idea. Took this at 21.50.

16 March
Jubilate rehearsed for this weekend's concert in Keble College Chapel tonight. Concert details available at the choir website. I took this photo before the rehearsal, at 19.21, in the Lady Chapel. The picture, is The Light of the World by Holman Hunt and was bequeathed to Keble by T. Combe of Oxford University Press (where all the best people work).

14 March
Mothering Sunday, as I'm sure you all remembered. Lydia and Craig cooked an excellent lunch at Lydia's house, and the one of her housemates took this photo for us, at 16.45. This is a first appearance on this blog for mum, dad, Lydia and Craig.

13 March
Busy day in London, with lots of potential photos. I met up with Becky at the British Museum, and Stephen and some of his friends to watch the Calcutta Cup, but even though it's not quite in focus, and I don't think the person who took it (whose name I've forgotten) deliberately framed it like this, I think this photo is great. Taken in Clare's flat at 21.03.
Saturday 13 March 2010
12 March
What a beautiful photo. I went out with Nick and Pete in Mayfair tonight, which was excellent fun. Photo taken towards the end of the evening, at 22.46.
Thursday 11 March 2010
10 March
Went to the Sheldonian tonight for University College Music Society's 80th Anniversary Concert. I sang with the University College Chorus for a couple of terms nine or ten years ago. They did a good job tonight, with this orchestra, of performing Brahms' Deutches Requiem. Photo taken at the end of the performance, at 21.08.

9 March
I was really struggling for a photo tonight, but then a flash of genius caught my eye in the form of my favourite trainers, newly-restored to their lime green glory. I love these trainers. Some people think they're horrid, but they're wrong. Photo taken at 23.22.

8 March
First day of my new job today, so here's an equivalent to Friday's photo, but of my new desk and office. Taken as I left (after the gym) at 19.40.

5 March
Today was my last day in my job in EPD - I start a new job on Monday, still at OUP. So today's picture is of my empty desk as I left H215A for the last time, at 18.37. I won the hideous golden shell in a raffle in December, and I've left that as a gift for whoever is lucky enough to occupy the desk next.

Today was very sunny and quite warm. Good for my mood - the rubbish weather has been making me want to move somewhere tropical. Went into Worcester College at lunchtime to take photos, and got some nice shots of flowers and a goose and stuff like that, but this, taken at 12.57, seems the most striking.
